Breakfast at Cocos in Flagstaff for the intrepid group of the Flagstaff Route 66 Car Club.

Hmmm, do I detect a color theme here?

Getting ready for the start in Seligman. There were cars lining up everywhere.

(not including those parked off on the sides).

We headed out of town before the official start. It was tough to find a way out because of the backup.

Ahhhh, finally clear sailing west of town.

The Slug-Bug Club had their own party set up.

The stop at the Grand Canyon Caverns was full up when we went past.

An old service station on 66 in Peach Springs.

VR Panorama of the Fun Run stop in Peach Springs. They had a DJ, lots of native crafts, and tons of food available.

Next Stop is at the Hackberry General Store. Cars were lined up for half a mile east down 66.

The parking area around the store was full up, mostly with Corvettes.

Some desert crafts at the store. I guess Bob Waldmire left it behind when he sold it to the current owners.

The Flagstaff Car Club takes over the benches in the shade.

I missed the joke but it must have been a good one.

Maybe they were discussing this sign on the door?

Coming into the west end of the car show on Route 66 in Kingman.

Lots of vendor tents in the city park and tons of cars of all types parked on 66.

Continuing east on 66 through the car show. Gettin' hot on the asphalt.

And some BBQ from a semi.

More cars on display.

Still more cars arriving. It was slow going with the crowds.

Heading back west towards the park.

Doin' a little shopping.

So much to choose from.

In the park.

VR Panorama in the park. Thank goodness for some shade. It was a good spot to sit and sip lemonade.

Nuff said.....

The Powerhouse was awarded a Hampton Inn Roadside Attraction award after its restoration.

It was busy here as it has the AZ Route 66 Association gift shop inside.

Pretty fancy inside.

VR Panorama outside the Powerhouse. Live music but everyone was pretty much keeping to the shade as it was starting to cook in the sun.

Not sure if this was an entry or not?
